Turkey Dinner

I took some time off from the food blog over the holidays, now it's time to play a little catch up. This was our home cooked meal for Christmas 2012. The world didn't end and good food still makes you fat. Happy Holidays!

Roast Beef & Gravy

The holy trinity. Meat, potatoes & carrots. All of it smothered in a rich home made gravy. Freshly ground black pepper a key.

Roast Beef

Just avoid that rolling pea. 

Pork Roast

We started off this meal with a couple of stiff adult drinks. The pork roast was served with homemade gravy, roasted potatoes and steamed sweet peas. "Was" being the operative word to stress here since this roast quickly became history.

Even the cat gets in on the act with it's own turkey meal this year. Would you believe after all the preparation and the yummy food we actually cooked the turkey upside down and browned the useless bony bottom. Oh well. It still tasted great!
