We used up the rest of the turkey with an overloaded turkey soup. The pictures don't do it justice. It's even got some leftover gravy, mashed potatoes and stuffing in it although we did leave the leftover cranberries out.

I guess this could have been called a carrot, celery and corn soup with leek and ground beef but either way it was delicious. Soups are less photogenic but our stomachs don't know that!

Meatball Soup

When making today's post I  kept having sayings going through my mind like "it's the soup that eats like a meal" or "it's mmm mmm good" or you need a fork not a spoon etc but realized these are all probably trademarked quotes pounded into my brain over the years as a youth absorbing advertising slogans without even realizing it. It was NONE of those things. It WAS a thick homemade meatball soup that beat ALL of those things hands down. In our opinion at least. Enjoy!
