The taco salad was made first and then the shells were stuffed. Kidney beans are a good alternative to pasta, rice or potatoes. A better carb and a good source of fiber. Just mind your manners later!

Today's Tidbit - Cherry Blossoms

Today's mention is much closer to home. My lovely wife snapped these pictures downtown just yesterday. Cherry Blossoms won't be around too long and this is probably them at their peak.

Who says Canada is cold? Those that have never been to the rain forest that is the western coast, that's who! I can count the amount of snow I've seen in 5 years on one hand. Anyone watching the 2010 Winter Olympics probably didn't know we spent a few million carting in and buying snow from Washington USA in addition to the few million spent on snow makers.

I was just informed that an Asian wedding was taking place under the trees in this following picture.

Bacon & Egg Sandwiches

Thick bacon stacked high with sharp cheddar and fresh field tomatoes on toasted whole wheat bread. The eggs were slightly soft in the middle so they squish down when you press on the top.
