Steak & White Rice

A beautiful steak cooked on the stove-top with white rice, fried mushrooms and caramelized onions. Even more delicious then these pictures could ever hope convey!

Ground Black Pepper and Sea Salt is all the seasoning these needed.

Today's Tidbit

On this day back in 1974 The Wings reached No.1 on the US singles chart with their musical effort entitled "Band on the Run". One of my all time favourites.

[The auto checker wants me to spell that as "favorites" the American way. I often will go along with these Americanized spelling corrections just to get rid of the red error line underneath, dropping more u's then I can count in the process. I.E. color vs colour in the process. This time I won't do that as it just looks plan wrong without the u! Canadians spell things straight from their original derivatives from the UK].

I had a lot of pictures that were blurry or this would look even yummier then it already does. I"m going to need to start using my tripod soon.

Today's Tidbit

David Bowie released "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars" on this day in 1972. It was an epic album with more influential hits then I will point to here today. David was on another planet mentally then which is probably why his music was so successful, it was different.

There are other songs of his I'd like to link here but for today I'll post "Starman" from this album.
