Steak & Potatoes

A pretty standard combination. Steak, potatoes and corn being the holy trinity of a typical steak dinner. Normally a baked potato but for today it was mashed potatoes with garlic and peaches and cream corn. There won't be any more posts in here for a week or so while camping but plenty of fun pictures thereafter.

Meatball Soup

When making today's post I  kept having sayings going through my mind like "it's the soup that eats like a meal" or "it's mmm mmm good" or you need a fork not a spoon etc but realized these are all probably trademarked quotes pounded into my brain over the years as a youth absorbing advertising slogans without even realizing it. It was NONE of those things. It WAS a thick homemade meatball soup that beat ALL of those things hands down. In our opinion at least. Enjoy!

Gnocchi & Salad

The title doesn't even begin to really describe this meal but maybe the pictures will do a better job. A lot of fresh leek, mushroom, celery, peppers, garlic, tomatoes, and Italian sausage went into this meal. The salad is kept very plain with a simple oil and vinegar dressing.

Perogies & Sausage

With some red and  yellow peppers thrown into the mix for good measure. Sided up with some sour cream for dipping. Great way to use up the rest of these perogies.
