Today's Tidbit
On this day in 1976 The Wings reached No.1 on the US singles chart with "Silly Love Songs". It stayed at the top of the charts for a solid five weeks and along with other Wings songs it's still a part of my music collection.

Chicken Stir-Fry with Cranberries
I never would have thought dried cranberries in a stir fry would taste this good but it was so surprisingly good. I can' t wait until we do this with leftover turkey one day.

It's Friday, Friday. Gotta get down on Fri. . . . NO!!!
Actually it is Friday just not THAT kind of Friday!
On this day back in 1967 The Young Rascals were No.1 on the US singles chart with "Groovin". It was actually a Saturday in 1967 so were kicking off this weekend early so to speak. See what I did there?
Whether you're "groovin' on a Sunday afternoon" or you "gotta get down on Friday" enjoy your weekend and if you're Canadian enjoy one less "Manic Monday" compliments of Queen Victoria.

Spaghetti with Chorizo Sausage
Deep red, smokey flavored chorizo sausage with plenty of garlic, fresh tomatoes and other good stuff bedded with fluffy white rice. A few raspberries for dessert.
